I had my job interview this morning and think it went pretty well. They said they’d let me know in about a week. While I felt I made a good impression, I also think the position is a lot more competitive than I thought it would be so it’s impossible to guess how it’ll work out. We’ll see.

As the male counterpart has been on a schedule that puts him in bed *very* early, I opted to avoid a nap this afternoon so I can fall asleep in a timely manner while I’m at his house tomorrow night. While it’s been a touch miserable, I was able to finish the last single of FCK ‘Old Rose’.

Sorry for the terrible picture quality. The combination of my phone’s camera and the lighting in my craft room makes for some blurry, yellow photos. Blech.

The bad is that my freakin’ cat Baxter got into a rabbits nest this afternoon and basically destroyed all my day’s happiness. I love him to death, but some things I’m just NOT cut out to deal with. Hopefully I can induce a nice theta state in my brain while I ply these bad boys up and forget about the disaster out back.

Can you believe I already managed to misplace a spinning batt from MDSW?? What the crap is that? I did manage to keep all these together, though.

I’m very happy with my haul. While it’s still quite a bit, I managed to pull off a massive reduction in my festival shopping. I still need to go through and find the names of some of the fibers, but the companies represented here are Loop, Into the Whirled, Fiber Optic, and JazzTurtle Creations.

Still on my wheel is the FCK ‘Old Rose’ for my spin-a-long. Two bobbins down, one to go. My guess is that I have about an ounce left to go.

In real life news, I have a second interview tomorrow for a job I’d really, *really* love to land. The rest of the day will be spent preparing for that and finishing up this last bobbin.
