Knitter extraordinaire! Scientific mastermind specializing in reading people like an open book! Savior of the weak, old and furry!
In more realistic terms, I’m a just slightly obsessive knitter who likes to make things and blog about them. I’ve been knitting for about 7 years now, though I had previously learned as a child. I never really took to it back then so I can hardly count that time period. I particularly enjoy knitting socks and have gained expert status as a yarn shopper. If only that were my real profession.
As one cannot live on yarn alone, I also have degrees in both biology and psychology…the latter of which is my field of choice. At the moment I’m between schools but am looking to start a graduate program in forensic psychology in the near future.
In the meantime, I look after my mother and supplement the care of my grandfather. “Caregiver” may not be the most pleasing or cosmopolitan title in my life but I do with it what I can. Luckily, this turn my life has taken gives me ample time for crafty goodness. I also have 2 lhasa apso’s, Riley and Dylan, whom I love to no end. I’m a sucker for a cute animal.
Other hobbies include reading, travel, bad television programming along with some good, acquiring new accesories and playing around online. Areas of expertise include kitchner stitch and avoiding domestic activity including, but not limited to, cleaning and cooking.
